A New York City native, John graduated from Fordham University and started his career in the financial industry in 1996 during the height of the dot.com bubble.Â

He started working for a global asset manager for a prestigious French bank, first as an operations and accounting specialist, and eventually as a junior trader executing small orders, trading forex, and managing excess cash.Â
Â
This was where he developed his passion for trading and the financial markets and fine-tuned his trading skills by having direct exposure to some of the best money managers on Wall Street. While doing this, he also attended night school and earned his master’s degree in Finance in 2000.

His career rapidly accelerated and became the Head Trader of his firm with total assets under management of over 40 billion. Not only did he trade equities and options in the United States, but also in over three dozen different financial markets all over the world.

John realized the power of options in the midst of the financial crisis, when he was able to use options to hedge large portfolio positions which protected his client’s wealth.

It was during that time that he was able to home in on his area of expertise, which is knowing how to select the correct strategy for the market condition.

My trading life started in the late 1990’s as a part-timer, mainly doing buy/hold, covered calls, and bull put spreads. From then until Labor Day 2020, I dabbled on and off with day trading.Â

I joined the TTP community on Labor Day 2020, really dug into the system, and because of that I have a rock-solid methodology for consistent, positive results.Â
I credit my background in music and fitness training in developing a mindset and discipline that focusing on small consistent progress repeated over and over will lead to consistent success. Â
Being a moderator for TTP is amazing for keeping me on my toes and always striving to be better each day.Â
LYNN RAMIREZ Coach
As a small hyper child, I was natural at sports; basketball, track, softball, volleyball, swim team and cheerleading.Â

Shortly after school, I took a position as a trainer at Camp Lejuene Marine Corps Base. When I’m not trading, I work at a hospital as an Exercise Physiologist in Bariatrics/Medical Weight Loss. Â

I have been trading and investing on and off since 2002 but started actively trading when COVID hit.Â

Coming from an athletic background, I approached trading just like I did every athletic endeavor I’ve ever undertaken. I embraced the fact that I wasn’t going to be the best out the gate but by working hard and I throwing myself into it 100%, I only get better and better.

ROBIN POPELSKYÂ Director of Operations
For over 15 years, I worked as the director of events for renowned top-level establishments in NYC – The Bowery Hotel, The Standard Hotel, The Park Restaurant.
I oversaw the entire team from inquiry to sales to planning and production. I was able to channel my creative and business mindset into building multi-million-dollar event departments for each one of these.
A few years ago, I opened, owned, and operated a restaurant. As a business owner, I learned what works and what doesn’t to a deeper extent than I ever could have by being an events department head. I invested in myself as an entrepreneur and developed the skills to grow a business from scratch.
Even though I have left restaurant and hotel management behind, I’m still a big foodie and in my spare time love to develop new recipes.
I’m really proud to have brought a level of hospitality to Top Trading Pros that doesn’t exist anywhere else in this industry.
JOHN WHITMOREÂ Content Manager
Hi traders, my name is John Whitmore. I am a part of the business analyst team and website content creation. I nurture Top Trading Pro’s daily blogs, as well curating the daily chatter activity everyday.Â
I started trading with the community during Covid, and became a moderator in 2022. In 2023, I was offered a chance to work behind the scenes, on the business side of TTP.
My family means the world to me, my wife is a 4th/5th grade teacher and we just had our first son last January with our second boy due this June.
I played sports my whole life, I still play hockey and am a big car enthusiast. Outside of the Top Trading Pros team, I am also a firefighter.Â
Throughout my work years, I’ve learned more than I can imagine and continue to bring that work ethic to help create the best experience possible for our Top Trading Pros community.

After graduating with academic and athletic honors from the University of Alabama in 2010 and receiving a SEC Post-Graduate Scholarship, Matt then went on to get his graduate degree from The Master’s Seminary in Los Angeles. He spent the following years as a pastor, teacher, counselor and dean.

Hello there! I’m Adriel from Houston, Texas. I grew up in a small suburb by NASA.
When I was 7, my grandmother taught me how to read charts. We would wake up every day, watch the news, and discuss her trading portfolio.
I received my BS in Marketing from the University of Houston. With a passion for people, public speaking, and entrepreneurship, I started a marketing company in Austin that I ran for 5 years. I funded the entire business (and my life) trading Crypto. After the passing of my grandfather, I decided to adopt his passion for cooking and become a Professional Chef. I loved it and still do, but the schedule was tough on my personal life. So, I decided to take control of my time and dedicate myself to the people that matter most to me: my family.
I’ve always had a passion for trend analysis and studying the market, so being able to help people cultivate and grow that passion is the most rewarding feeling in the world.Â

I am originally from Brazil. I moved to the U.S. in 2008 and fell in love with San Diego.
I spent a few years traveling around the world, at this point I’ve visited over 40 countries. My favorite place is Spain. Such good people, and the food is amazing, with tapas, and little bars everywhere.
I do go back to Brazil every year to visit family and friends.
I graduated from California State University with a major in Arts and I love painting on canvas. My favorite subject is waterlilies, inspired by Monet. In my free time, I enjoy biking, hiking, and lightweight training.
Most of my professional experience has been around client success and customer service.
