Volatility Does Not Mean Risky

A few people are asking about open swing trades ahead of today’s FOMC decision.

More specifically asking if they should get out.

I have a different question. Has anything changed since your entry? Has the reason for the trade shifted. Was there a heavy volume bearish candle?

Is there a heavy volume pause with big candles in both directions? Did your stock report bad earnings and guidance?

If you are in a profitable trade and nothing changes, put your ego and fear in the closet. If you don’t you’ll never have enough big wins to pay for the losses that are part of any trading system.

This is WHY the profit maximizer is a big part of our system. It’s designed to remove emotion. Sure some small wins will come back for a small loss or small profit but you only take those small profits when the market is choppy, and tough.

That’s NOT the current market. A new quote that we’ve adopted should help with trade management. “READ THE ROOM.”
