A few people are asking about open swing trades ahead of today’s FOMC decision.
More specifically asking if they should get out.
I have a different question. Has anything changed since your entry? Has the reason for the trade shifted. Was there a heavy volume bearish candle?
Is there a heavy volume pause with big candles in both directions? Did your stock report bad earnings and guidance?
If you are in a profitable trade and nothing changes, put your ego and fear in the closet. If you don’t you’ll never have enough big wins to pay for the losses that are part of any trading system.
