Two Women Making It Happen
Successful trading is NOT what you think it’s about.
This is what trading is really about…
As our community matures the questions and conversations get better and better.
When you first begin trading you’re all about the setups. It becomes an obsession. “Just tell me where to get in, and I’m good to go!”
That wasn’t the answer.
I remember vividly saying to myself (over and over) “If I only had a system that worked, THEN I am good to go! I’ll be on easy street!”
Believe it or not, that wasn’t the answer either. It’s part of the solution, but not the ultimate reason that you’ll become a successful trader.
Having the map points us in the right direction, it even tells us where to turn, but it doesn’t tell us how to drive.
Over the last several months our coaching calls have evolved. Members are asking next-level questions about managing trades.
They are learning to “drive.” Learning to make better decisions. Gaining money-making experience.
Our system works. There’s no doubt about that. When we see solid order flow, and a good tape, we are party city. That’s open road, radio blasting with your favorite song.
But now they’re learning to drive in the snow.
To drive in the rain. To drive in stop and go traffic.
Keeping their trading account safe until the road opens up again.
Finally learning that every trade, every day, every week is not a moment to step on the gas. Sometimes you just need to get in the car and get there.
But the most important part of this growth is the profits, of course. Getting validation that your hard work is paying off.
I see this now because most of our conversations are about managing winners. What a great problem to have. Do we have losers? Of course. We accept them as a part of doing business, pay the expense and move to the next opportunity.
Synthia F. and Stefanie D. brought recent trades to the coaching call to discuss how to handle the winners. Good lessons but let’s not gloss over the fun part.
Big winners for both of them as most people are in fear of the markets and afraid to take action. Not these two ladies.
They understand that success is in their hands and every day they take action and learn.
Now it’s up to you.
Why are they growing as traders? Because they have the guts to ask questions. They’re not afraid to learn and admit what they don’t know.
Profitable trading is not simply about the entries, the strategy or the mindset, it’s learning how to use those aspects of trading that make you special.
